Description

Ferrarium Epsom Salts – Magnesium Sulphate 16% bag of 25kg

Epsom salts, also known as magnesium sulfate, are a natural source of 16% magnesium and 32% sulfur. Both of these elements play an essential role in the growth and development of healthy, colorful plants.

What can I use Epsom salts for? Plants that are prone to discoloration, such as conifers, hedges, and various ornamental and vegetable garden plants, as well as lawns and borders, can benefit from additional magnesium and sulfur. Magnesium contributes to the production of chlorophyll, which not only provides deep, vibrant colors in plants, but is also critical to the photosynthesis process. Chlorophyll deficiency can result in reduced growth, leaf or needle dieback, and yellow or brown discoloration. By adding Ferrarium Epsom salts to the soil, plants can absorb magnesium and thus treat and prevent color changes.

A lot of plant food contains NPK fertilizers, where N stands for nitrogen. Sulfur has a similar function to nitrogen, and plants need both elements to be able to produce enough protein for healthy growth. The sulfur content in Epsom salts contributes to the stimulation of growth, especially in cases where there is reduced growth due to a deficiency of chlorophyll. Ferrarium Epsom salts naturally and effectively provide improvements in plant health, resistance and growth.

How do I use Ferrarium Epsom salts? The use of Epsom salts depends on the type of plant, the type of soil, and whether you are using it for healing or preventive purposes. Fortunately, there is a general guideline for using Epsom salts in the garden. Generally, you should apply a dosage every 4 to 6 weeks throughout the growing season.

Dissolved in water: If you dissolve Epsom salts in water, there are two application methods available. You can dissolve 20-30 grams per liter of water for direct application to the leaves, or dissolve 1-2 teaspoons per liter of water for direct application to the soil.

Scatter: For application to the soil, you can also spread Epsom salts. Use about 100-200 grams of Ferrarium Epsom salts per square meter. Then water to dissolve the magnesium sulfate.

Composition: Ferrarium Epsom salts consists of MgSO4.7H2O, of which:

  • 16% Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate
  • 32% Sulfur Trioxide

*Please note: Ferrarium Epsom salts are not suitable for human consumption.
